SPN and KDDI Vietnam entered into a Memorandum of Understanding about Business Cooperation to promote Digital Transformation solutions at Commercial Facilities

JTOWER Inc. (Representative Director: Atsushi Tanaka, Headquarters: Minato-ku Tokyo) (“JTOWER”), announces that its subsidiary in Vietnam, Southern Star Telecommunication Equipment Joint Stock Company (General Director: Nguyen Dac Lam, Headquarters: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam)(“SPN”) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with KDDI Vietnam Corporation (General Director: Masaya Taguchi, Headquarters: Hanoi City, Vietnam), which is an overseas subsidiary of KDDI Corporation, regarding the collaborations for provision of 5G mobile telecommunication service and Digital Transformation(DX) solutions utilizing 5G at commercial facilities in Vietnam (hereafter, the MoU).
　
Under this MoU, we will provide 5G mobile telecommunication service in commercial facilities in Vietnam, and promote DX solutions to the commercial facilities for operational efficiency and business improvement utilizing 5G and IoT, and in addition to that, we will analyze customers’ behavior with AI cameras and implement security measures to enhance the DX solutions.
Furthermore, we aim to improve customer experience (CX) by developing entertainment-related content enjoyed with smartphones such as projection mapping, live stream, and metaverse, which helps customers gathering at the commercial facilities.
　
SPN will continue to strengthen its business structure centered on indoor infrastructure sharing services in Vietnam and contribute to the digitization of society through the improvement of the country’s telecommunications environment.
